Co-Founder | Board Advisor

Joe Moravec serves as Co-Founder and Board Advisor at Portfolio Partners Group, bringing more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership, operational execution, and strategic business transformation. His career includes CFO roles at Verizon Wireless, President of US Telecom at ATN International, and Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Victra, followed by fractional CFO work with All Things Circular. His responsibilities have ranged from nationwide field finance leadership at Verizon to direct P&L oversight and executive partnership with CEOs, COOs, and boards. Across these assignments, Joe has combined financial discipline, commercial judgment, and people leadership to guide businesses through growth, acquisition integration, and organizational change.

At PPG, Joe focuses on financial value creation by aligning performance management, capital deployment, and governance with sponsor investment theses and operating objectives. Working alongside current management, he helps validate financial assumptions, develop practical value creation plans, and establish reporting and operating routines that connect strategic priorities with measurable results. His experience spans financial planning, pricing, contract negotiation, enterprise risk, and organizational alignment. At Victra, he helped increase EBITDA from $144 million to more than $300 million while the business expanded from 900 to 1,800 stores, supporting six consecutive years of budget outperformance. He also oversaw vendor negotiations that delivered $40 million in savings and led integration of an acquisition encompassing 700 stores and 3,000 employees.

By translating complex financial and operating issues into clear priorities, Joe helps investors and leadership teams strengthen decision-making, protect margins, and support scalable growth. At Verizon, his achievements included designing and launching the Share Everything pricing model, generating $500 million in incremental revenue over prior run rates across 18 months. At ATN International, he directed financial modeling and pricing for infrastructure opportunities that secured a $300 million-plus AT&T FirstNet contract and an $80 million Connect America Fund award. His approach combines calm, concise executive communication with hands-on accountability, helping portfolio companies improve financial visibility, manage risk, and build enterprise value throughout the investment lifecycle.
